Product Description

VIVEXYL PLUS is a coloured wood preservative solventbased for exterior use that penetrates into the wood and protects against fungi/ blue stains. It is applied to doors, windows, frames, claddings, garden furniture, rafters and beams, trellises. It is resistant to cracking, blistering and peeling. It has excellent durability to sunlight and moisture and offers effective protection enhancing the natural beauty of wood.
It is available in colourless and in 12 ready-made shades.

Application Description

Ready for use. Apply 1-2 coats of VIVEXYL PLUS. Apply with Brush
For effective biocidal performance apply 200–250 ml/m².
For a perfect satin finish, it is recommended to use VIVEXYL FILTER 7 premium woodstain as topcoat.
This product is for use in all outside wood, which is not in direct contact to soil or surface water and it is exposed to weather conditions. Not for indoor use.
The final colour of the wood depends on the physical colour and absorption of wood and the number of VIVEXYL PLUS coats applied.

Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    Surfaces must be clean and dry and rubbed down with a suitable abrasive paper. Dust off new wood and remove grease and resin with THINNER No 600 for GENERAL USE. Treatments such as dry sanding, flame cutting and/or welding of the dry paint film will give rise to dust and/or hazardous fumes. Wet sanding/flatting should be used wherever possible. If exposure cannot be avoided by the provision of local exhaust ventilation, suitable respiratory protective equipment should be used.
  • 2. Cleaning
    Clean brushes and equipment with Vivechrom’s BRUSH SOLVENT immediately after use • Do not empty into drains.
  • 3. Storing
    Store between 5oC to 40oC.
