Product Description

VIVEPOX PRIMER 100 is a two component epoxy undercoat with good penetration, suitable for the coating of alkaline surfaces such as concrete, cement mortar, plaster, bricks. It has excellent resistance to chemicals, solvents, oils and grease. It exhibits great hardness, very good adhesion and water resistance. It is recommended as an undercoat for swimming pools, in combination with VIVEPOOL. Also for floors, garages, factories and storage areas, where it is applied in combination with VIVEFLOOR.

Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from poorly adhering material or paint in poor condition, dirt, oil and salts. New surfaces of concrete or cement mortar should be painted after a month of their construction.
    Surfaces already painted with single component paints must be completely cleaned with solvents or mechanical equipment, whilst two component paints or smooth surfaces must be well sanded. Dry sanding, flame cutting and/or welding of the dry paint film will give rise to dust and/or hazardous fumes. Wet sanding/flatting should be used wherever possible. If exposure cannot be avoided by the provision of local exhaust ventilation, suitable respiratory protective equipment should be used.
  • 2. Storing
    Store between 5°C to 40°C.
