Product Description

VIVELATEX is an acrylic bonding and waterproofing latex, which significantly improves the properties of cement mortars. It increases adhesion to any substrate. It improves elasticity and waterproofing, preventing shrinkage and hairline cracks in screeds and coatings. It also improves the water retention and workability, and protects fresh concrete against premature dehydration. It is an ideal admixture for thin cement layers and plasters, floor screeds, smoothing and repairing mortars and reinforcement in tile adhesives. It can be also used as a primer for paints and roof waterproofing materials and mainly for waterproofing in foundation materials in construction.

Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from all defective and poorly adhering materials, dirt, grease and salts. Moisten cementitious substrates to saturation. Treatments such as dry sanding will generate dust. Wet sanding should be used wherever possible. Work in well ventilated areas. Use appropriate means for respiratory protection.
  • 2. Storing
    Store between 5oC to 40oC.
