Product Description

AQUAXYL ACTIVE is a protective water based woodstain for interior and exterior use with low odor and reinforced with polyurethane. It brings out the natural beauty of wood and at the same time it protects it, preventing mold and fungi growth on the dry film of the varnish. It impregnates the wood, forming a thin water-repellent, elastic membrane which follows the contractions and expansions of the wood, allowing it to breathe. It is ideal for any new or unpainted wooden surface such as doors, windows, frames, ceilings, wood paneling, sheds,
pergolas, fences. It offers protection from UV solar radiation and it doesn’t peel, blister or crack. Available in colourless and 12 ready-made shades, as well as in 34 more shades through Vivechrom’ s tinting system.

Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    • Surfaces must be clean and dry.
    • Before application, the surfaces are sanded with the appropriate sandpaper
    • Dry sanding, flame cutting and/or welding of the dry paint film will give rise to dust and/or hazardous fumes.
    • Wet sanding/flatting should be used wherever possible. If exposure cannot be avoided by the provision of local exhaust ventilation, suitable respiratory protective equipment should be used.
  • 2. Cleaning
    Clean all equipment with clean water & detergent immediately after use.
  • 3. Storing
    Store between 5° and 40° C.
