Vivechrom supports yet another year the Athens Digital Arts Festival 2017 (ADAF)

Vivechrom, the largest decorative paints manufacturer in Greece, a member of AkzoNobel group, actively supporting new technologies, provided the necessary paint for the renovation of two buildings in the historic center of Athens, where the Athens Digital Arts Festival was held with great success from 18 to 21 May 2017.

Athens Digital Arts Festival 2017 (ADAF), was held for the 13th consecutive year with the theme “Post Future”, and Vivechrom was once again a sponsor. This year’s event invited the participants to imagine the future and explore how technological developments influence and shape the course of art and societies as a whole.

Additionally, ADAF Kids was further developed in 2017 with the creation of a stable and ongoing program for children throughout the event. This program included educational art and technology workshops, interactive installations and projections that impressed the young audience.

Vivechrom undertook the renovation of a property of particularly interesting architecture, at 23 Mitropoleos Street, where the Festival took place, as well as the restoration of another property, at 61, Kolokotroni Street, where a permanent artistic interactive venue is hosted.

Supporting the actions of the City of Athens, Vivechrom provided material support to the organization of ADAF 2017 and contributed to the improvement and upgrade of the city’s historical center while enhancing pioneering actions that harmoniously link modern technology to the arts.
