News - Vivechrom is the Leader of the paint industry

Vivechrom, the largest decorative paints manufacturer in Greece, a member of the multinational AkzoNobel Group, was awarded at the “Leaders of the Greek Economy” event and was named “Paint Industry Leader”.

The event was held for the third consecutive year on Monday, May 15, 2017, at the Athens Concert Hall in the presence of Greek business people and government members.

It is worth mentioning that Vivechrom, which celebrates its 85th anniversary since its establishment, has been a prominent player in the industry, and since 1964 it holds the leading position in revenue and profitability.

By delivering high quality products and implementing a successful business plan, it has achieved for one more year significant financial results and has increased its market share in the decorative paints industry.

The prize was received by the CEO of the company, Mr. Makis Provatas, who said: “We are particularly proud of our distinction among the protagonists of the Greek economy. In this difficult economic environment that plagues the country, we strive to put color into everyday life and give hope and optimism for the future.”
