How to paint furniture like a pro

First, remove any knobs and handles and lightly sand the furniture with medium coarse sandpaper. This will help the paint to grip. Wipe with a damp cloth and leave to dry.

Paint the bare furniture with AQUACHROM PRIMER ECO. If you are repainting you don't need a primer. Leave to dry and then lightly sand with a fine grade sandpaper. Wipe to remove dust.

To prevent brush marks, use a good quality brush (3-inch will suit most jobs) or a small roller. With paint brush of 1 inch do the difficult areas. You’ll need 2-3 coats to ensure an even coverage.

Apply two coats AQUACHROM ECO in the chosen colour. After the first coat is completely dry, sand with a fine sandpaper to ensure a smooth, professional finish. Remember to wipe off any dust with a damp cloth.

Once the second coat is dry, lay back and marvel at your handiwork.
